More about the game

  • Games are not canceled when I cannot host them, unless I know the field is wet. When in doubt, check your email or this website after 9:45 am on the day of the pickup for last-minute cancellations.
  • Games will not be canceled solely because of weather forecasts. Once cancelled, they will not be reinstated.
  • Because playing on wet grass can seriously damage the field, games will be canceled if the field is wet from significant precipitation.
  • Games will also be canceled due to thunderstorms.
  • We play with a pair of portable goals on a field marked by small cones, and no keepers.
  • As with any pickups turnout is unpredictable, but is generally in the low double digits.
  • Please bring a ball or pump if you have one, so you can still play if I'm not around or someone has to leave.
  • No slide tackling or rough play, please.
  • Cleats and shinguards are highly recommended, because ...
  • We cannot be responsible for any injuries sustained on the field.
  • Don't forget a complete sunscreen! (Did you know sunscreen degrades within half a year?)
